Just a quick note to make sure everyone in my group is clear about the schedule for the layouts. The backgrounds that I designated to everyone today need to be completed by the end of day ( thursday 19th). If they have not been finished they will need to be handed to me by Monday morning so we can start the character changes. Our aim is to finish the character changes by close of Monday for us to put together on Tuesday. If anyone is unclear let me know as i'll be in tomorrow. Great work guys keep working hard.

Emma 2D group BSolent History of Britpophttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12090378738174886578noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465383452245848388.post-3326931930097625482009-02-14T07:41:00.000-08:002009-02-14T07:51:06.352-08:00character sheetskarl here. got the animatic to rob on friday and i made up a storyboard bookletwith new times i reworked it so the party is 1:34 long.

may team worked hard on some back grounds and the charactersheet i will post them here for any one to take.
britpoper

britpoper guitarist

britpoper singer

also here is some links for background ideas
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y277/kimpey/britpop/backgroundsheet.jpg
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y277/kimpey/britpop/backgroundballseye.jpg
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y277/kimpey/britpop/candontown.jpg
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y277/kimpey/britpop/candontown2.jpgSolent History of Britpophttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12090378738174886578noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465383452245848388.post-66192622281323682482009-02-13T10:10:00.000-08:002009-02-13T10:13:59.933-08:00CGI Animatic UpdateWell done to you guys for finishing up the final animatic, it was well put together! As long as we keep the characters generic enough then there isn't a problem.

They also don't have any grunge music on their label, so we will have to produce some royalty free grunge sound ourselves. A chat with the music tech students might be in order.Solent History of Britpophttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12090378738174886578noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465383452245848388.post-27187054581896530532009-01-26T08:13:00.000-08:002009-01-26T08:18:09.275-08:00Here is a rough scedule for the project

Pre production

Concept
Storyboard
Sound Track
Animatic - 5th February

Character Design
Aesthetic
Layout
Film Pilot - 26th February

Production

Backgrounds
Animation - 9th April
-Keys and breakdowns
-Inbetweens
-Clean Up
-Colour
-Special Effects

Post Production

Compositing
Editing
Rendering

Film Complete -23rd April

CHANGES

Final Deadline - 1st MaySolent History of Britpophttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12090378738174886578noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465383452245848388.post-49063176895384133562009-01-26T05:51:00.000-08:002009-01-26T05:52:36.896-08:00Client FeedbackIt is only a quick response, but here it is in full:

Hi Adam

This looks great – I like the sketches - it’s all looking great.

Cheers

Julian

Solent History of Britpophttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12090378738174886578noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4465383452245848388.post-53127369773759404282009-01-22T01:01:00.000-08:002009-01-22T01:05:32.735-08:00The BriefCreate an animated account of the History of Brit Pop.
Client initially likes the concept of using Asterix as a starting point.
The whole product needs to be made in 1 to 2 minute chunks but still work as a whole product.
Preproduction lasts 6 weeks.
Production and post production lasts for 7 weeks.
You have a budget of £500

Adam Comiskey
Course Leader AnimationSolent History of Britpophttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12090378738174886578noreply@blogger.com0
